I can always count on La Jolla Mejuri staff to take real good care of me. The member who took care of me during my piercing follow up was perfect. Gentle in removing my old backings (3). Quick and painless in putting in the new ones. Best of all, I was in and out but still taking care of in the best way. Thank you.

kyra did my piercings & i thought she was wonderful! she made me feel comfortable throughout the piercing process and always made sure i was feeling okay. she looked at my ear and gave me different placements for my piercings. her vibes are so good, so i’ll def be going back to her when i’m ready to keep building my stack!! heart & moon piercings by her <3

I had a very positive experience at the Mejuri store in UTC, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Camilla. My wife had an issue with a bracelet she purchased, and Camilla was not only understanding and empathetic about why we decided to return it, but she also went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction with my rings. She kindly helped exchange one of my rings due to an ill-fitting size. What stood out most was Camilla’s thoughtfulness and consideration—she took the time to review and confirm exactly what needed to be done upfront, allowing me to go about my day while she efficiently handled everything on the backend. Throughout the process, she kept me informed by emailing confirmations and receipts. Thank you, Camilla, for your outstanding support and professionalism! This is hands down, the best place to get your ears pierced. I got my helix and conch pierced back in May and had a lovely experience. I love the flat back and all the piercing options they have that. You’re talking about real gold and real gemstones. No more boring studs that leave you wishing you had something more sparkly. Once they were healed and the swelling went down, I was able to go back in and switch out the posts to something shorter for free! You can also opt for the $30 gold flat back vs titanium. To top off my already great experience, I recently lost the backing to an earring when I was taking off my motorcycle helmet. They again, gave me the new post for free! Highly recommend

kyra did a lovely piercing!! the needle felt almost like nothing and was less painful than any vaccine needle!! she helped me figure out the perfect placement for my third piercing and i absolutely love it!!! she kept checking in with me to make sure i was okay and was prepared to help or stop as needed!! i didn’t have any issues immediately after or when i got home and my earrings look lovely!! when i’m ready for another set i would absolutely return here (especially with kyra again)!!!!

I had long awaited this review. I had been here last november and asked for a flat from a piercer that seemed very nervous, shaky, and didn’t even let me get a flat in the end, I left with a helix, that was crooked and never healed. About a month or two ago I had gone back to the location addressing my concern due to the fact that my helix wasn’t healing and to begin with its not even what I asked for from the beginning, Modey was my new piecer at Mejuri that day and took such an amazing job of me, she had instantly said yea this needs to be fixed let me see what I can do for you. She ended up being able to fix my piercing with what I ended up wanting, I was a little hesitant at first due to my last experience but then she had really reassured me of her work in the process. Anyways fast foward about a month or two, I am so happy with my piercing! Modey was by far one of the best piercers I have ever been to and I have at least 20 piercings by other people, my flat looks great! and it looks ontrack to get the post downsized soon and be done healing! thank you so much Modey! I owe you the world with my new piercing you gave me!

Visiting San Diego and decided to get a 4th piercing on both ears while the Hubs was at a work conference. Just had a mid-helix piercing by Gerard. He was absolutely wonderful at showing different jewelry that would look the best. I was super nervous about the helix piercing but Gerard was great at putting me at ease during the piercings. Highly recommend Mejuri and Gerard if you’re looking for a place for ear piercings and beautiful jewelry pieces.

TL;DR: For a 10/10 piercing experience, get pierced by Gerard! Gerard is the BEST! I love Mejuri jewelry, but Gerard is the reason I'll only get pierced there from now on. From start to finish, he provided the best possible experience. He helped me find the cutest stud for my conch and ensured the perfect placement. After being obsessed with my conch piercing for the last six weeks, due to user error (i.e., sleeping on it accidentally), I had a red and inflamed ear and thought I'd have to lose the piercing entirely. Thankfully, Gerard is a piercing magician and was able to clean up the area and save the piercing! Once this one heals up, I'm excited to go back to Gerard for my next one!

I came in on a whim on my birthday back in March and decided to pull the trigger on my 3rd piercing. Gerard was my expert piercer and I could not be more impressed and pleased with my experience with him! He was hospitable, knowledgeable and kind. Very professional and you can clearly sense he knows what he’s doing! He carries a very prominent confidence in his craft! I wish I took a photo of the aftermath- however Gerard did and the result was gorgeous! I love my stack and will continue to go back to Gerard specifically! I’ve been back a couple times already to purchase more jewelry. I highly recommend Gerard for anyone looking to get piercings done! He is highly trained and just all around a good kind soul- he will take good care of you!
